kenable Computer & Server Racks 012030 Editorial Review
The Kenable FLAT PACK Wall Mounted Data Cabinet is receiving mixed feedback from customers, highlighting both its affordability and ease of assembly, while also noting issues related to the sturdiness of its Construction. Many reviewers appreciate the cabinet's straightforward assembly process, with some completing the setup in as little as 15 minutes. Users have found it useful for housing various network equipment, including routers, switches, and NAS drives, and have praised its design for managing cable organization. It is especially appreciated in tighter spaces where a larger rack would be unwieldy, such as lofts and under desks. However, criticisms mainly focus on the cabinet's build quality. Several customers have mentioned the thinness and flexibility of the metal used, which raises concerns about its durability, particularly when wall-mounted. There are also complaints about the unclear assembly instructions, which some users found frustratingly inadequate. Additionally, the absence of shelves and mounting support for heavier devices was a recurring theme, leading customers to seek or fabricate additional support solutions. Despite these drawbacks, many customers feel that at its price point, the cabinet offers good value for those who require a compact and easily assembled option for their network equipment, as long as the limitations in sturdiness are understood and accounted for. **
