The active ingredient, dibrompropamidine isetionate, is effective at combating bacteria while castor oil, cetostearyl alcohol, polyethylene glycol 600 monostearate, silicone MS antifoam A, and purified water provide moisturizing and soothing properties to the cream. Customers have found this cream to be effective in treating a range of skin infections from jock itch to boils in the nostril, and even wounds on cats and dogs. However, customers have reported that it is not effective on face bruises and recommended using arnica cream instead. The cream can be safely used on sensitive areas except for intimate genital areas unless it is jock itch on the scrotum. It has been effective in healing scars, wounds, and splits inside the nostril overnight. Overall, Brulidine Antiseptic and Antibacterial Cream is a reliable and effective product to have in your medicine cabinet for minor skin infections and wounds.
