svara: When measured with under arm model, temperature was 37.2 C whereas with the no touch thermometer was 35.5C. Test was conducted on the whole family and on children showed 35C (under arm thermometer showed 36.5). -

svara: The state of the baby/child/adult is not relevant. It is a thermometer to measure the temperature at the forehead. -

Hello; do you always need to press the button and choose appropriate age range for adults before each use, or does it keep the last setting on memory?
svara: You dont have to set it every time you use it. You can lock in an age setting by pressing the power button at the same time press the age precision button for a few seconds and the unit will turn on and display a yellow light and the age icons will flash then press the age precision button to select your desired age range once selected stop pressing the button. It tells you how do it in the booklet on page 6 under select age range. It does work. -

Could anyone recommend a case for this product? And if you have had this for a long time does it still perform good? Is it good for a newborn baby?
svara: I would say that the one measures temperature from the ear is much better. This one gave me an heartache .. showing my newborn baby has 38°C - this thermometer is not precise.
