Upplýsingar um vöru
- Still Standing: A Journey of Strength, Survival & LoveWhen her water broke at just twenty-seven weeks, April's world split apart. One moment she was an expectant mother praying for a smooth delivery. The next, she was being rushed to a Pittsburgh hospital, holding her breath and begging her tiny daughter-born barely two pounds-to stay alive. What followed was a life she never planned for: infertility, depression, grief, trauma, therapists, specialists, the cold hum of NICU machines, and the overwhelming fight to protect a medically complex child in a system that wasn't built for her.Raw, honest, and heartbreakingly real, Still Standing is a memoir of a mother who refused to quit-even when she was breaking. It is the story of a little girl who showed extraordinary strength before she could even speak. And it is a testament to every parent who has ever waited for a diagnosis, prayed beside a hospital bed, or carried fear and love in the same breath. If you have walked the hard road of prematurity, medical challenges, or motherhood that doesn't look like anyone else's, this book will remind you: You are not alone. You are stronger than you know. And even in the darkest moments, you can still find the strength to stand.&am
