The Shawshank Redemption is a must-watch movie for anyone who Considers themselves a movie fan. It has a perfect story with great acting from Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman. It is a story of a mild-mannered banker who is wrongfully convicted of murder and then sent to Maine's Shawshank State Prison where he meets Red, played by Freeman, a life-termer who is well-versed in the prison culture. Robbins's character uses his financial acumen to gain the position of financial advisor to the warden and the guards. Through this position, he plans a masterstroke that allows him to get revenge against his tormentors and reunites him with Red. The story is well-crafted and the acting is superb making it a flawless movie that should not be missed.
