The Protec Trombone Case (PB309CT) offers excellent protection for the instrument and is a sturdy and secure option for those in need of a reliable case. It is not recommended for use in overhead compartments on airplanes and the bumpers cannot be replaced with wheels. The canvas around the corner where the bell is pulled too tight causing one of the wood screws to come out, which appears to be a design flaw. However, this does not compromise the overall performance of the case.
