TRENDnet USB Cables Editorial Review

The TRENDnet TU-S9 USB to Serial Converter may be a lifesaver for those with old serial applications. A customer found that it worked perfectly, even after switching to a 64-bit operating system. However, there was a major glitch where selecting 2 stop bits at 9600 baud would corrupt the incoming data, and the device caused one customer's computer to freeze. Additionally, the converter will not work with interrupt-driven devices. It seems that this device works well for some customers, but may not be suitable for everyone.
