The Logan Portable Mat Cutter Model 301-1 is a convenient and easy-to-use tool for cutting 4 ply mat boards up to 32.5 inches wide. Although it does not have adjustable stops, a mark on the sliding knife will help guide users when to stop cutting. The cutter can be configured to push or pull and a sharp blade makes for a smoother cut. It cannot cut foam board thicker than 1/16 inch, but users can find thicker foam boards at the Foamboard Shop website. The Logan cutter is easy to use, and the cutting blade is easy to pull or push even for those with average strength.
