The helm is a drop-in replacement for the current generation safety with no dash modifications required. It's suitable for most single-station boats with a single non-power-assisted outboard engine up to V-6 and minimal engine flutter or steering instability. It accepts wheels up to 16 inches in diameter. It replaces nearly all Teleflex-safe steering systems without dash modification.
