    svara: The toe portions on mine are not labeled, I just go by heel label, L or R.

    svara: Just put a couple of fingers in the hollowed area beneath the logo and gently pull up, it's easy.

    svara: It opens gently and will only open enough to fill the inside of the shoe. Once it meets some resistance on the inside wall of the shoe it will stop opening. If you open it outside the shoe and measure it, the total width extends to about 4 Inches across. Of course this will vary depending on the size you order. Just keep in mind that a shoe tree does not open all the way inside the shoe and it does NOT stretch your shoe. Rather it opens just enough to gently hold the nice shape of your shoe in place while the moisture evaporates.
