The Brutus Maxtorque is a downrigger mount compatible fishing tool that can assist in pulling up heavy pots of crab with ease. It does require the scotty part that comes with the scotty downrigger kit, however, the black plastic portion that attaches to it must be purchased separately. The boom height and length measures 18 inches. Though, one customer received a dented stainless pulley and had to return it twice. The tool is collapsible with the boom being removable or the entire tool can be removed from the base.
