svara: Yes, the wires can be close to the flame without melting. It controls the flame and the gas valve can be left open at all times. -

svara: Most likely yes, as the kit regulates gas flow to the burner, providing automatic start/shutoff, pilot light or electronic spark options, and flame adjustment. -
