Action & Adventure Editorial Review
Wild at Heart (Special Edition) offers a vivid journey through romance, violence, and surrealism as envisioned by David Lynch. The film's storyline revolves around an escape plot featuring Sailor (Nicolas Cage) and Lula (Laura Dern), highlighting their tumultuous love amidst quirky and dark characters reminiscent of The Wizard of Oz. While some reviews note a unique blend of action, comedy, and sex, others suggest that the violence may feel excessive at times. Despite varying opinions, the film’s atmosphere and the solid performances, especially by Willem Dafoe as the villain Bobby Peru, keep it engaging. Enjoy the remastered HD quality along with extras like interviews and deleted scenes that enrich the viewing experience.
