Underwater Magic Lighting Products 6530-11 Editorial Review
This sealant has excellent adhesion on most surfaces without primer and can be bonded with and to each other. It comes in standard colors including white, blue, sand, grey, and black. The product requires the surfaces to be solid, clean, and free of grease, silicone, algae, old adhesive, and anything that could interfere with bonding, and water needs to be in balance with safe chlorine/bromine levels, pH, calcium levels, and water temperature requirements.met. The curing process takes five to seven days after application, avoiding shock treatment during that time. The glue can stick to any new plaster, fiberglass, cement, and other materials. It can seal cracks in the pool below the waterline, but initially it will wear away in two months. Several mishaps have been reported, including the glue sticking to bath suits or not adhering to some surfaces. It is expensive, but it saved some people from having to drain their pools during a drought.
