The Smith Lowdown XL 2 Everyday Lifestyle Sunglasses are an ideal choice for people who have larger head sizes. The frame is made of cheap plastic which some customers found disappointing since they're used to the metal frames in other Lowdown XL's. The temple to temple width of this model is 60mm and the bridge width is 16mm which provides medium fit frame with large coverage. However, the screws to hold the frame together have come out for some buyers, with no way to fix it, and the lack of seller contact information is troubling. The lenses used in the Smith Lowdown XL 2 are not real glass and the ChromaPop Red Mirror is not polarized. The chromapop lenses are crystal clear polarized lenses with a touch of added color. Years of using these glasses have led one customer to experience vision issues after having stellar vision their whole life which raises questions about the quality of the lenses used. However, another customer liked how the colors pop and found the lenses to be comfortable.
