The range of shades is impressive, but some of the colors do not work as well as others. The Basic brown is a true brown whereas the black/brown is a very dark brown. The gray shadows effect left by the pencil works as a benefit in some situations but not always. Sharpening is required every 4/5 applications and some users are disappointed in the longevity of the product.
