    svara: Diameter is 17 1/2 inches, and should be an exact infrared grilltop replacement, that fits 'ALL' Char-Broil Bistro grills. The $40 pricetag gives U a thicker grate for a wider Tru-Infrared diffused grilling spectrum, THICKER than the original grill replacement for $20. I ordered it unseen with the thought that it's a better cooking surface than comes with the original factory unit. Universal replacement, but NOT Porcelain Coated as in the Electric Patio Bistro Model. This is Stainless Steel, and should provide a great grilling experience/the reason why I bought the thicker grate.
