This expansion joint is stiff enough for straight joints yet flexible enough to shape around curves, making it ideal for a variety of construction and concrete projects. The closed cell foam construction ensures virtually zero water absorption and does not attract destructive termites. Its UV resistance helps prevent degradation from sun exposure, and the environmentally friendly design is made from recyclable resins, free from CFCs and HCFCs. The tear strip can be reused as a backer rod, and the product works well with many types of sealants. This expansion joint exceeds ASTM standards D-4819 and D-3575, providing reliable performance for both residential and commercial use.
