The Noritz RC-7651M is a universal remote used to control multiple tankless water heaters from Noritz. It is compatible with various models including the NR66-SV-NG and nrc98-dv. However, it does not come with an attachment cable and one would have to buy it separately. The remote comes with a mounting plate which has to be attached to the faceplate of the water heater, and two small wires that have a two-pin male molex-style connector. The mounting can be done using the double-sided foam tape or screwing the mounting holes at the front. Customers who have used the remote were impressed with how it worked perfectly and was a perfect replacement for their water heater. Others found it hard to put together but still loved the product. However, a customer had an issue with the unit beeping and putting out a 760 code indicating a bad controller, which occurred within 72 hours of purchase.
