The interior dimensions of the bottom compartment are 12 1/4" x 7", with an interior height of 7" with the tray removed. The box comes with one tray and has a big compartment on the lid that is 2 inches deep. The box doesn't come with black powder and projectiles and other tools in the picture but is just the box. The MTM Muzzle Loader Dry Box is a decent product for the price, but some customers have reported bowed bottoms and issues with the second tray. However, most customers found it to be a good box that does what it's supposed to do and has ample storage for small items.
