The Feynman Lectures on Physics Set Hardcover is reviewed as one of the best physics books ever written. This makes it easy for physics students to discover each fundamental result for themselves. Feynman's unique presentation is said to be a major part of modern culture and anyone teaching physics should be familiar with this text. However, it may not be an easy read for those who haven't taken at least AP or freshman physics or calculus. The description of the Conservation of energy is a pedagogical masterpiece and the explanation of entropy is very effective. The analogy of vortex lines in hydrodynamics to magnetic field lines in electrodynamics is very useful. Feynman's way of presenting physics is described as the best text for lower-division college physics.
